Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. Reservations can be postponed up to one year at no additional cost. Cancellations made 90+ days before check-in receive a full refund minus a $100 per person fee; cancellations within 90 days forfeit the deposit.This policy does not apply to large group reservations of 10 or more guests—please contact us directly for details regarding group cancellation terms. In the event you arrive late or depart early, your rate cannot be prorated.For added peace of mind, we recommend purchasing travel insurance through Travel Guard (877-249-5376, account 43028, product 109400, or online).
Babysitting
Our Kids Program is designed for children aged 4-17. For little ones not quite there yet, we offer caring, professional babysitters at $25/hour. Just give us a heads-up before your arrival so we can be ready to care for your little cowpokes!
Gratuities
Our hardworking team doesn’t expect tips, but if someone goes above and beyond, you’re welcome to add a gratuity to your bill. Tips go entirely to the team member(s) you choose or to the shared tip pool—our ranch wouldn’t be the same without them! An average gratuity is between 10-20% of the pre-tax total.
Respect the land
At Majestic, we love our wild surroundings and want to keep them beautiful for generations to come. Please help us leave no trace by staying on trails, leaving plants and wildlife undisturbed, keeping areas clean, properly disposing of trash, and being mindful of noise. Together, we can protect the ranch and the wilderness we all enjoy!
Housekeeping
Daily housekeeping service is available upon request. We strive to give each guest plenty of privacy and peace during their stay, so we only enter your cabin when asked. If you’d like your room refreshed, simply flip the sign on your door before heading out in the morning. This lets our housekeeping team know you’d like service that day, and they’ll take care of the rest!
Pet Policy
While we welcome service animals, we do not allow pets on the property during your stay. If you plan to bring a service animal, please notify us in advance so we can make the necessary accommodations for your stay.
Emotional Support Vs. Service Animal
We abide by the law as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act and as such will make reasonable accommodation for service animals. Per Title II and II of the ADA, a service animal is trained to perform a specific task for a disabled person. Emotional support animals are not considered service animals by the ADA, and therefore, Majestic Dude Ranch does not allow them at the ranch. This is for safety reasons in order to avoid the potential harm to your pet. We kindly ask you to keep your pets at home.
No Drones
For the safety of our guests and local wildlife—and per Colorado State regulations—drones are not allowed on Majestic Dude Ranch property due to our close proximity to the Mancos State Park. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.
No Drugs
We’re dedicated to creating a safe, healthy, and enjoyable experience for all of our guests. To maintain this atmosphere, we kindly ask that guests refrain from bringing or using any controlled substances on our property, including marijuana, as required by federal law.

Smoking
For the health, safety, and comfort of all our guests, staff, and animals, smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas, cabins, and common spaces at The Majestic Dude Ranch. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available—please inquire for locations. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a clean and safe environment for everyone.
Complimentary Shuttle Service
Our shuttle can pick you up from the airport or a designated hotel. Shuttles operate within a one-hour window, ensuring you’ll be picked up within an hour of your requested time.
For arrivals or departures outside of our operating hours, a local shuttle service can be arranged. Payment for this service can be made by credit card at the time of departure.

Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in is on Saturday at 2 pm, and check-out is on Friday at 11 am.
Payments
All payments can be made by check, ACH transfer, or credit card – credit card payments incur a 3% transaction fee. If you have any questions about your reservation or payment details, please feel free to reach out – we’re happy to assist.
Deposit
All reservations require a 25% deposit of the total lodging, resort fees, and taxes at the time of booking. Deposits are applied to your final balance and may be paid by check, ACH transfer, or credit card.
Final Payment
Final payments are due on Thursday, the day before your departure, and can be settled in the office with our management team. At this time, any gift shop purchases or gratuities can also be added to your balance. Payments may be made by cash, check, ACH transfer, or credit card.
If you plan to split the payment among your group, we ask that you let us know in advance—ideally at the time of booking—to ensure a smooth and seamless transaction for everyone.
Please note that all credit card transactions incur a 3% transaction fee.
Taxes & Fees
A 7.3% local state and county tax is added to your per-person rate required by the state. Your final all-inclusive rate includes all taxes. There are no other hidden taxes when you stay with us.
Liability Waiver
All guests are required to sign a liability waiver. Liability waivers can be signed before arrival or on the day of check-in at the office.
Allergies
While we strive to accommodate all guests, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free kitchen or snack selection. Guests are responsible for managing their own allergies. Please let us know in advance if you need an alternative menu—we’re happy to help with advance notice.
Horseback Riding Weight Restriction
Safety is our top priority for guests, staff, and horses. For horseback riding, we have a 250-pound weight limit based on horse size, terrain, and ride speed. Horses can safely carry up to 20% of their body weight, including saddle and tack. If you have questions or need accommodations, please speak with our management team—we’re happy to help!
E-Bike Age Restriction
For safety reasons operation of E-Bikes is reserved for guests aged 18 and up. Pedal-powered mountain bikes are available for guests of all ages.
ATV Age Restriction
For safety reasons, ATV rides off property are limited to guests ages 13 and up. ATVs are open-air vehicles designed for larger riders, similar to how roller coasters have height requirements. This ensures everyone enjoys the ride safely. Guests 12 and under can enjoy a fun, kid-friendly alternative ride. Guests aged 21+ have the opportunity to operate our ATVs during our scheduled ATV ride.
Shooting Age Restriction
For safety, all rifle shooting is for guests 13 and up. Our rifles are heavy with kickback and handled under strict supervision. Guests 12 and under can enjoy BB target shooting in a safe, kid-friendly setting.
White Water Rafting Age Restriction
Guests ages 3 and up can join rafting trips. All rafters must wear secure shoes, a PFD, and a helmet for safety.
Helmets
Helmets are required for everyone while biking and for all ATV rides off-property. For horseback riding, helmets are required for guests 12 and under. Safety first, y’all!
