We absolutely loved the Majestic Dude Ranch. It was an incredible experience. I would give the ranch 6 stars if I could. If you have a family and are exploring a dude ranch experience in Colorado, this is your place. The staff were wonderful and extremely helpful. There is non-stop action and adventure. The food is excellent. The accommodations are rustic but very comfortable. The kids program was outstanding and was a highlight of the week. Overall, this is a greater than 5 star place.

lovely accommodations . i got to master the art of the "Horse Lift Tactic" (my nephew called it the "Lift and Neigh Neigh",,, i should never have fought for full custody) . this will make my ex wife return , I hope . but please exerseize caution ... The horse has been known to do what's called "Vomit All Over You" .
the pool and breakfast options were very nice . pool water made my waffles soggy , but that was my own logistical error . Really enjoyed the trip to the Majestic Dude Ranch. I was here for a work retreat and was thoroughly impressed by the staff and the ranch itself. Robert and his team go out of their way for their guests and treat you as one of their own. Highly recommend for a corporate retreat, family reunion, or just to get outdoors and see another part of the country.

What an amazing vacation! I attended a work retreat at Majestic Dude Ranch for four nights and had a wonderful experience!
The setting is serene and beautiful. The grounds are quite expansive and dotted with the lodge and cabins. The cabin was very comfortable and clean.
They offer many activities including: horseback riding, mountain biking, fly fishing, UTV riding, hiking, skeet shooting, a swimming pool, and more (even a mechanical Bull!).
The food was prepared on site and delicious! Beef centric menu but so tasty, and they accommodated a vegetarian in our party easily. I looked forward to the breakfast each night and dinner each morning!
The best part of the stay, however, was the staff. They were amazing! They took care of everything, and always with a smile. They do everything at the ranch, and the team here takes the experience to the next level. I highly recommend a trip here to unwind and recharge!

This was the most magical vacations we have been on with our family of 5. We loved everything about the ranch and everything they plan for you is easy and fun to do. The food is excellent, the staff and hospitality is 5 star, and EVERYTHING is included. The location is breath taking. We hated to leave and hope to come back soon. We had the best vacation ever here!!! I went four years in a row as a child back when it was called Lake Mancos Ranch and begged my husband to go with me 18 years later. He was wrongly convinced we were going to have to hunt around for things to do in the area because he thought he would get bored but we had things to do the entire time we were there. We were so busy that we couldn't do some of the evening activities because we were too tired! There is something to do for everyone at all times. The food and desserts are amazing and you need loose pants because you will be eating!!! The rooms were also super clean which is really important to me. Everyone is extremely nice and you can really tell they have a passion for the ranch! You won't pay for ANYTHING while you are there unless you want to go to the gift shop. It's more all inclusive that any all inclusive vacation I've ever been on.
All of our expectations were infinitely exceeded and I was so excited to do things I didn't get to do as a kid like run around in the ring just for fun and brush down Cactus after trail rides! I cried when we left because I didn't want to leave. Most of the people in the photos with me in their old guest albums have since passed so it meant the world to me to have such an amazing time for my 5th visit (and first as an adult). I can't wait to come back!

A time to get away from the grind, unplug and challenge ourselves with a plethora of activities while be uber supported and treated like kings and queens by Robert's staff. This will definitely be a vacation to remember and would love to go back in a heartbeat!

Omg this place is magical!!! We had the most wonderful time at the Majestic Dude Ranch. Jamie and Robert were so accommodating and helpful. My daughter loved the horses and the sweet cows. The playground and trampoline were a huge hit as well. The food was absolutely perfect and the company could not be better. Can't wait to come back to this gem.

LOVED OUR EXPERIENCE!!! From arrival to teary eyed departure we were treated like kings and queens! Robert and Jamie are amazing hosts (sorry I missed you Robert on the way out). All details are considered. The food is amazing! The staff are as kind as can be and will help with anything. The location is breathtaking! The trail rides are great. The horses are gentle and easy to ride. There are activities to do if you want or just sit back and relax! I'll be back for sure!!

What a fabulous dude ranch! I can’t express how great the staff is here! The horses, activities, rooms and food were absolutely amazing! We made lots of memories but most of all new friends. I would definitely recommend this ranch!

My family visited in 2019 in it was by far one of the best family vacations we ever planned. I have two boys, they were 9 and 13 at our visit and they still rate this experience over any theme park we ever visited. This place is “overnight camp” for the entire family and everyone can find something they enjoy. From the breakfast bell in the morning, to our tired heads hitting the pillows at night, we had memories EVERYDAY! Some days were family activities, some days were “everyone did their own thing”. White Water Rafting, Mesa Verde, Horseback riding the trails, fishing, canoeing, electric bikes, archery, shooting, swimming, relaxing, line dancing, wine tasting, movies under the stars, electric “bull” riding, human foosball, family kickball, duck races, bonfires, the memories are endless. The counselors are more than willing to help with little kids, to make sure Mom/Dad get to do what they want too… Teens find other teens to hang with. The food was amazing, and even accommodated a couple very picky people in my family. Not one person on this ranch wouldn’t do anything to make your stay better. I would highly, HIGHLY, recommend this Majestic Dude Ranch, you will NOT be disappointed.

Visited 9/12 - 9/16 on a Republic Voice and Data team trip and had the most incredible time. The entire staff was amazing, especially Robert and Luke, and Kelly. They were amazing! The place is a little piece of heaven here on earth.

19 members of our family just spent a week at Majestic Dude Ranch in Mancos, CO. The experiences were amazing and I cannot recommend a place more highly. Robert and his team epitomize hospitality and service. It's non-stop enjoyment.

Time of my life there, all inclusive (except for gift shop), prob had 2-3 cokes a day and they didn’t charge any extra, and you build real connections, not connections at normal resorts where you say hi to someone then mind your own business and they leave the next day and you never see them, all 100 or so people arrive and leave the same day, all staff are incredibly kind and flexible, when I was on a nature bike ride (turns out it’s been a long time since I had ridden a bike) one of the staff members on the hike was willing to help me get back to camp safely, they go to great heights to make you happy, when I was there a little girl lost her doll at the local airport flying in and the ranch owner went there and search everywhere until he found it and brought it back to her, delicious, hand cooked food, stunning nearby hikes, amazing activities that create lifelong memories, I will never forget when my family all went atv-ing together, and we had a lakeside picnic, will definitely be returning. Would 100% recommend

My family and I had the privilege of staying at the Majestic Dude Ranch, Memorial Day weekend of '22. If we could give more stars we would. 5 stars is just not enough to give for the attention to detail Majestic provides.
We were able to bring my Mother-in-Law, Dad, and Stepmom to celebrate so many things with us. We were so impressed with the owner and the staff at Majestic Dude Ranch (MDR). Everyone is friendly, courteous, has a sense of humor, and most importantly, has safety for the guests as their number one priority. Our group had the oldest guests on the ranch that week and we are happy to say that the staff at Majestic Dude Ranch were very accommodating.
The Wranglers were just wonderful! They were a lot of fun, and always had the guests safety as priority. It is wonderful to see that the staff is part of the family at MDR. Robert, the owner, said during our orientation briefing "leave as family", and he is 100% right! For a group of introverts this trip took us all waaay outside of our comfort zone, and completely worth it. It gave us a different kind of confidence, whether with socialization, being around large groups of people, or horses. This experience was truly the trip of a lifetime for all of us and we are so grateful to have spent the time at the MDR. We are already planning our next trip.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Majestic Dude Ranch! The owner, Robert, was very hands-on and made sure that every guest had a great experience. Christian, the GM, also went out of his way to do the same. I saw Robert making omelets for each individual guest early in the mornings, grilling filet mignon and lamb to the perfect temperature, and answering my texts to accommodate my requests. Great customer service and between Robert, Christian, and the rest of the large team they have, you cannot leave disappointed.

My fiancé and I had the privilege of spending some time at the Majestic during the summer of 2021. We can't say enough about our time there. Thick cut bacon and coffee by the morning fire, long trails laden with babbling creeks, and bottomless cookie jars are just a few things that make this place special. The property is beautiful, the animals are healthy and well-cared for, the owners are kind and involved in all aspects of the ranch, and the team is second to none. A huge, huge shout-out to the people that make the Majestic so special. We dream of returning one day.

While the facilities are a bit “rustic”, any concern was very soon extinguished by the incredible staff, setting, and activities! My daughter, who is as critical as they come, was the most effusive in her praise for the overall experience. This was a family vacation which we all will fondly remember for many, many years!

Now onto the horses. There is review Posted that claims mis treatment of the horses, claiming they are penned in too small of an area. This is the horses day paddock for a few hours when the rides are taking place so they are accessible. They are released into a large pasture in the afternoon until rounded up again the next late morning. Believe me, the horses are treated extremely well, and the horse wranglers understand the horses, how to treat them, and go out of their way to teach guest proper horse Etiquette. During our stay I saw both a vet and a Ferrier come visit the herd. The two main wranglers have been around horses their entire life. They also rehabilitate horses that have been mistreated. I think this makes the picture very clear.

The rides were amazing, and there are several options from the novice to the semi expert to experience how amazing these animals are.

You can look up the website, but there are activities morning till night, something for everyone, karaoke to ATV rides to arts and crafts for the kids to archery, target shooting, water sports, etc.

Overall I cannot recommend a more amazing dude ranch experience.

I cannot say enough positive things about majestic dude ranch. My wife and I just stayed there for one week and it was the most magical experience we could have ever hoped for. Between the horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, white water rafting and all of the communal meals and late night activities, majestic dude ranch is absolutely amazing. All of their staff including the owners Robert and Jamie are so personable and hands-on. It was by far the best vacation we have ever taken and I cannot recommend enough that everyone experience a week at Majestic dude ranch. We certainly will be going back many times in the future.

I thought I left a review when we came here a few years ago. I am researching another trip here because the last one was life changing for me.
Jamie and Robert were nothing short of amazing. Also the staff was so kind! A few times I felt like I worked there (I wish I did). They let me be as hands on with the horses that I wanted to be. Let me brush my favorite horses, got personal lessons on an amazing Arabian that did tricks. :) She made me look so good and like I knew what I was doing. At the time of the trip, I was mentally in a very bad place. This trip was quite literally life changing for me, not exaggerating. I'd say my love for horses is what made this trip amazing, I am a country girl at heart but live in a big city always have. I come from a family of jockeys in South America, always am around horses when I have the free time, however the scenery is what took over me in every good way possible. It was the most beautiful place I have ever visited and I have traveled out of the country many times. This trip will forever be a memory I will never forget. I hope Robert and Jamie read this! Say hi to Hatch and PO and all my other friends! I will be back soon. On the way home, Robert took my mom and I into town and to a brewery, the little things are what made this experience so fun! We just purchased a home and next I am going to do research on getting my own horse here in Minnesota. I hope to return with my daughter and my mom before the season ends.

The Majestic Dude Ranch is an escape away from every day life. It is situated near Manco State Park in Colorado.
MDR is a family owned and operated dude ranch. We brought our 4 children (ages 7-14 ) for a week long stay. The one phrase that we did not hear all week was “I’m bored!”
There is something for everyone. You can ride AtVs, learn how to horse ride and drive a cattle, skeet shoot, wine taste, lasso, swim, paddle board, mountain bike and much more.
Activists are scheduled from 8 am all the way to 19 pm, but you can pick and choose at your leisure.
The food is excellent and different each night. I wasn’t expecting a perfectly grilled NY strip one night or tender beef ribs the other night. I actually looked forward to what was for dinner each night.
Probably the best thing the ranch has going for it is the staff. Robert has built a team that clearly enjoys what they do each day. The children were always well attended to. The wranglers were able to get us out of our comfort zones with the horses. Ian, the activities director, would find a way for you to get paddle boards to the state park and get you on an ATV whenever you want.
The lodging is fine. Clean rooms with showers. No TVs. Wi-Fi throughout the camp is good for emails and texts. The whole point is to get you outside.
The staff was very conscientious of Covid practices and were masking and sanitizing appropriately.
I Highly recommend this as a family getaway. The family and staff at MDR gave us memories to last a life time.

I believe my two, young daughters and I stayed at this ranch a couple decades ago,... several summers in a row...IF the cabins used to be painted red, and the Senert Family owned it. It was called LAKE MANCOS RANCH back then.

The activities are fun, the horseback riding is to die for, the food is outstanding, the scenic location is as if you are living in a postcard. This past week, my husband and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary on the Ranch. What can we say about our experience on the ranch? Double WOW!! It was more than we expected. Robert and Jamie are one the most down to earth couples we have met and they truly care about making their visitors have an exceptional stay. Jamie makes the best cookies. Their staff is personable, professional, adventurous, super nice, helpful and amazing. God willing, we are definitely going back next year and the year after that... Since we live in South Texas and we do not experience different seasons, Robert and his staff told us the best time to go up is September. My husband is already making plans. They offer so many outdoor activities for kids and adults to enjoy which we were not able to partake in all of them. And the food is delicious. I will be the first one to admit that there were items on their daily menu I prefer not to eat. But their chef changed my mind. That is no lie. You can ask my hubby how picky I am. If you have not been, we highly recommend you and your family go. Book it now! Do not second guess yourself. Just do it! We promise you will have a blast.

We love coming to the Majestic Dude Ranch! Our family of 94 came up and the staff were SUPER accommodating. There are so many activites, you are never bored! Would recommend to anyone!

I don't even know where to begin besides saying this vacation has being the most wonderful experience and memorable time our family consisting of myself, daughters 13 and 15 and husband have had. The staff,and I mean all of them, are truly so professional, caring and genuinely display how much they care for their job and making the guests happy. Every day was an adventure and so exciting. They keep you busy with an amazing itinerary morning to night. I recommend Majestic to anyone who loves caring people and the outdoors. And read Robert's book. What an amazing journey he had and still does. He is truly an inspiration. Thank you again for an amazing vacation.

We just returned from Majestic and if we could give this ranch more stars, we would. Owners and staff's service and attention to detail is outstanding. This was our first time going to a dude ranch. Selected Majestic based on highest ratings at different sites and comments by so many families returning to this ranch year after year. Majestic accommodations and staff surpassed our expectations in every way. This is the place to go for a great vacation.

AWESOME!!! Great family fun! We do all kinds of fun activities, see beautiful sights, and hang out with the fun staff and people. Love this place, it's great for very young kids to adults, there's always something intresting to do no matter what your age, and they have great experiences.
Will definently be back!!! And a big thanks to Robert, Caleb, Drew, Haden, and Anna y'all made a great trip even better!!!!!!!!!

If I could give this place more stars, I would without hesitation! Our extended family had the BEST family vacation there just a week ago. The accommodations were outstanding and clean (individual cabins for each family), the food was as good as a five-star restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip (seriously - Trent and Kelly were awesome!), and the activities left no one ever saying, "I'm bored" which can be hard when you're traveling with a bunch of kids. We did it all! Rode horses, river rafted, kayaked, stand-up paddled, hiked, mountain biked, did some archery, shot some guns, played some baseball, line-danced, tasted some wine, swam...the list goes on and on. I highly recommend Majestic Dude Ranch - Robert makes everyone feel like they're part of his family. I hope to return, sooner than later!

Amazing, amazing, amazing! Tim and Cindy have so much knowledge and PATIENCE with the horses, kids and adults! The horse rides are beautiful, stunning and peaceful. The landscape and scenery can't be beat! Robert and Jamie the owners are willing and able to accommodate anything you wish for. Lil Cal is just the cutest! Mike the lab thank goodness didn't find my jerky😋......absolutely the best experience of a lifetime. Wendy and Stephanie along with all the other staff members went above and beyond!!! There was always something to do. So many options for activities. Never a dull moment. Highly highly recommend looking into the Majestic Dude Ranch. You won't be disappointed !!!
